The community-based services in CSI module for SABD are to expose students to the real community living in the real-life situation. We are to cooperate as a group for structural, culture, and environmental improving activities in the communities of various of different socio-economic status and social groups. The series of community services are offered as student strengthening project, we are given the flexibility to pick and to execute the task in the most ideal way, within the budget and time limitation given. As architecture student, we were then required to propose and execute design answers to handle the analyzed issues.
PROJECT 1 :
1A : THE ART OF ADAPTATION
We were required to analyse a chapter from the Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino. Our group has chosen ‘FEDORA' as our theme. We have produced a sculpture that symbolised the desire of the Fedora's city. Through this project, I have learnt to represent story in a physical art approach.

1B : OBSERVING THE EVERYDAY
We were required to observe Jalan Nagasari in Kuala Lumpur and apply Calvino's perspective in our observation of the area. My issue of the site is the unbalance development of lower and higher community. I have learnt to use appropriate materials and methods of research through this exercise.
PROJECT 2 :
RESYNTHESIZED : AN EXPERIMENT
We were required to visualise our idea of Jalan Nagasari in 25,50,100 years from now based on our findings in project 2. I have produced a storyline based on the rapid development in Kuala Lumpur. Through this, I have learnt to apply the techniques that have been taught into creative adaptation.
